Meet the Team

Ginger Hansen, D. D. S.
Dr. Hansen received her dental degree from the University
of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1979. After
graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at the V. A.
Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Hansen worked in the Los Angeles
area for five years prior to relocating to Vista and opening her practice
in 1985. Dr. Hansen is married to Tom Kennedy and has one
daughter, Madison. She and her family (including 3 cats)
reside in Oceanside. In her free time, she enjoys reading, movies and
spending time with her family 'dune buggying' at Glamis. She has been very active in the Pride
of Vista Lions Club, and other civic activities. |
Brenda
Brenda is a 1977 graduate of Palomar College Dental Program. She
has been an assistant and marketing director for 31 years, 23 of those in
Dr. Hansen's office. In her spare time, Brenda likes to sing, is
involved in jail ministry, Lions Club and other civic clubs. |

Andrea
Andrea received her dental training in a dental office in Chicago,
Illinois. She has been a dental assistant for 14 years. Andrea
joined Dr. Hansen's staff two years ago. In her spare time, she
spends time with her daughter.

Sofia
After receiving her dental hygienist training at South Western
College, Sofia joined Dr. Hansen's staff in December of 2004.
In her spare time, she says that first of all she spents time with
her two daughters, Zofya and Gyanna and her husband Victor.
Every Friday, she is a volunteer parent at Richland Elementary
School. Her hobby is working with glass. She is making
glass beads and is always taking classes to learn something fun to
do. |

Kristin
Kristin graduated in 2004 from the University of California, San
Francisco. She has worked as a hygienist for 4 year.
Kristin joined Dr. Hansen's staff 9 months ago. In her free
time she likes to spend time cooking, swimming, photography, and
spending time with her husband, 2 daughters and friends. |
Elissa
Elissa joined Dr. Hansen's office in the fall of 2003. She
has been in San Diego since 1990, coming from the Orange County
area.In 1993, she attended Palomar
College's Dental Assisting program and graduated as a dental
assistant. Later that year, she passed her state boards and
received her license to practice as a Registered Dental Assistant.
She was promoted to manage the front office in 1999 at her previous
office, and found that that was her desire for her future in
dentistry.
Elissa has been married for 11 years to Bill
Record, and they have two girls. As a family, they are very
active in the community and in their church. Every year in the
spring, they gather children books to be donated to 5 non-profit
organizations here in Vista. In 2009, the Record family was
chosen by the Sunrise Kiwanis group as Family of the Year.

Lisa
Lisa joined Dr. Hansen's staff a year ago.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, crochet and
just relax. |

Zoe
Zoe recently joined the staff as the insurance liaison and
web designer. In her spare time, she works for Dr. Hansen's
husband, Tom at
Tom
Kennedy Auto Repair, works on other web sites, the Oceanside
High School Foundation, her genealogy, spending time with her
husband, son, and two daughters and is currently writing a book about her ancestors. |

Madison
Madison Kennedy is our youngest team member. She has been
working for Dr. Hansen, (her Mom) since she was 7 years old.
She is the designated "gopher" and she has business cards to prove
it. Madison spends her free time with her friends and
listening to her music. |
